This photo (entry #198) was also taken during last year's trip to Father's hometown in Fuzhou, China on 29th September 2004, just a few months before he passed away... The seats featured here were placed in a very neat order within the old hall of our Xu Family Clan Building... After exploring the place, me and my brother Eric, as well as our sister-in-law, Yi Cai, attended a conference with other unfamiliar family members of the Xu Clan from other parts of the world. We were then treated to a banquet of delicious seafood and traditional dishes... It was a real pity my Dad, who was suffering from the advanced stages of tongue cancer, couldn't join us in the feast...
